Job Description

• Foster and maintain relationships with architects within markets covered.
• Seek out door hardware (081000) and division 10 specification writing opportunities.
• Coordinate the writing and follow up of door hardware specifications and division 10 specifications.
• Liaison between the architect and specification writer.
• Write sub requests for approval of all JL Jones Group products as needed.
• Maintain factory CRM systems with daily frequency – Salesforce and Sugar.
• Assist in converting products from competitors to like products of manufacturers we represent for quoting, sub requests, and other general purposes.
• Conduct CEU and lunch and learn classes at architectural firms.
• Product specific presentations to architects.
• Successfully execute promotional activities when appropriate.
• Review leads and communicate leads to appropriate individuals who can act on the leads.
• Perform other duties as assigned by JL Jones Group.
• Coordinate special events with architectural firms ie. Sporting events, cooking classes, art exhibits, etc.
• Attend industry trade shows focused on architectural customers.

• Skills and experience with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills.
• Travel 20 % - Mainly to Colorado but potentially to any of the states we cover if needed. Also, trips to various factories we represent.
