Pearce is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission-critical electromechanical infrastructure throughout North America. Pearce provides technical maintenance, repair, operations, and engineering services for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, backup power generators, battery energy storage systems (BESS), critical cooling systems, and other electrical and mechanical infrastructure across end markets such as renewable energy, telecom, and data centers. Your Impact Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This is a fast-paced, rewarding job best suited for individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and eager to learn and grow in the telecom industry. The position is regional; candidates should reside in the Eugene, Oregon area. Core Responsibilities Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems. Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment. Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services. Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Core Experience Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email. Physical/Work Environment At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards. Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion. Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure. Occasional overnight stays; company pays all travel costs and provides per diem. Driving to remote work sites as needed. Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Compensation Base Pay Range: $30 USD - $38 USD per hour, DOE. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
